Welcome to Foxes class page! 

Our topic for the Spring term is Fire Fire! We will learn all about the Great Fire of London and for more information on all the different subjects, click on the planning tab. 

Reading/Phonics:

Children will have daily phonic sessions to develop their reading and spelling.  Part of the session includes listening to the children read aloud.  Each week the children will bring home material(s) to support their learning. This could be a book or sheets for them to practise reading fluently.  Any reading done at home can be recorded in the reading records.

Homework:

Your child’s homework will be set on Google Classroom and will be available on a Friday. Children will be set English or Maths homework on alternative weeks. Where possible, the homework set will link to the area of learning we have covered in class that week. Once completed a picture can be uploaded to Google Classroom for marking.  If your child has any problems with the homework set, please let us know and we can go through it with them at school. Also if a paper copy is needed please ask.

PE:

The children will have PE on a Tuesday afternoon. Please can you ensure your child comes into school wearing their PE kit on this day. They will then stay in their PE kit for the whole day.
