Hello and welcome to the Year 1 class page.

'Shiver me timbers' it's time to set sail for the high seas with our new topic 'Ahoy there!' The children will be learning about famous pirates from history, exploring the coastal area and using geographical language.  They will also be comparing how seaside holidays have changed over the years.

Can you name any oceans?  Grab your compass and treasure map, it is time to go exploring!
