Year 3 and 4 league matches

Lesson: Physical Development

Class: Year 4 Wrens Year: 2016 - 2017

The Year 3 and 4 team had their fifth league match against St Clares.

It was a tight game and after going a goal down, we managed to fight back with a goal from Jonnie. Then, we had the sucker punch goal on the stroke of half time! But the team didn't let their heads drop and they came out fighting. We had a great chance to make it two all, but missed this time. Then, we fell victim to the counter attack and wnet further behind.

The team continued to rally and Jonnie finished of a fine team move. It was 3 - 2. The team pushed for an equaliser but it left us vulnerable. St Clare's were a constant threat and scored to make it 4 - 2 and that is how it stayed.

A first defeat of the season, but the sign of a good team is how they respond to a loss in their next game. There were some strong performances this week, but man of the match goes to Harry John who had made some good saves in goal and did a great job stepping in for the second half. Showed a lot of confidence and did a great job for the team.
