Upper Junior Christmas Clubs

Lesson: Design and technology

Class: Year 6 Kestrels Year: 2015 - 2016

In the last week of term, the Year 5 and 6 pupils have invited parents in to help with Christmas Clubs.

The Year 5 children took over the school hall for baking christmas treats. There were christmas tree peppermint creams and stained glass window ginger biscuits. The children thoroughly enjoyed getting their hands messy and following the recipes to make their festive treats. The finished products looked amazing.

The Year 6 pupils were set the challenge of making a santa decoration - by sewing! They showed great patience and did a fantastic job. They were very proud of their work - once they had managed to thread the needle!

Take some time to have a look at the children at work.
