Macmillan Coffee Morning

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

On Thursday, we held our Macmillan coffee afternoon to raise money for cancer research. It is a charity that is close to our hearts within our school and we were so pleased with all the wonderful donations of cakes and the amount of people who came into school for coffee and a slice of cake.

Our House Captains in Year 6 were on hand to serve the cakes and drinks to the tables. We were very grateful to Mrs Edmund and Mrs Cook for their hard work in setting up and organising the event.

As always, we were very fortunate with all the generous donations and it is no surprise that the turn out was so high. The total raised so far is £131.93. A big thank you to all those involved.
