Knowsley Safari Park Trip

Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 6 Kestrels Year: 2016 - 2017

The upper juniors had a great time at Knowsley Safari Park.

The children started the day in the classroom where they learnt about the rainforest and the animals that live within it - they even got to hold some of them.

Then there was time to look at the meerkats and the giraffes. Before lunch, the children also got to see the elephants.

After lunch, it was the fantastic sea lion show. Roger and Arthur impressed us with their amazing skills which included balancing the ball and leaping out of the water.

After another lesson on endangered animals, we enjoyed a tour around the park where we got up close and personal with the rhinos and the lions!
