Junior Sports Day

Lesson: Physical education

Sadly, Infant Sports Day was cancelled due to a wet track, but has been rearranged to Friday 27th June in the afternoon. However, the Juniors were so lucky with the weather and the everyone involved had a fantastic afternoon. A big thank you must go to Mr Bond for organising a really good sports day which not only included classic events such as the egg and spoon race, sack race and obstacle, but also welly wangling and a knights race!

This was the first Sports Day using our new Houses and it was very compeitive and so close right to the very end. Some Jokers were strategically used and there were some memorable performances from so many of the children. Sycamore came out as the eventual winners and House Captains Rhys Roberts and Daisy Ellis proudly lifted the Sports House trophy as their team amassed a huge points total of over 260. Well done to all teams and we look forward to the Infant Sports day, Rounders tournament, Tennis competition and Deanery Atheltics which are all to come this Summer. Come on Team Farndon!
