Journey Man drama performance

Lesson: Communication, Language and Listening

We are lucky enough as a school to have Johnny Gillet, or Journey Man as he is known, to work within our school with groups of pupils and after school clubs.

On Wednesday, we were treated to a performance from the Infant and Junior groups and they acted out their dramatic pieces to the whole school and their parents.

The Infants retold a classic African tale about Anansi the Spider. Oliver in Year 2 did particularly well with so many lines to learn. All the children were fantastic and were so confident. The junior children acted out a piece they had prepared themselves about witches and wolves - very scary.

Obviously, we thank Johnny and his team for all their hard work and we look forward to him working with our school next year.
