Infant Tatton Park Trip

Class: Year 1 Foxes Year: 2015 - 2016

The Year 1 and 2 pupils have been enjoying learning about Traditional Tales and on Friday they went to Prince Charming's Ball at Tatton Park. Children were shown around the mansion and got to experience what it would have been like to have lived as a servant and as royalty; it was just like off the set of Downton Abbey!

The children danced the waltz in the grand entrance hall, having practised in school with Miss Schofield.
After lunch, the children were shown around the gardens and were told facts and listened to different stories along the way. I have been told the children were amazing and the staff at the park commented on the pupils good behaviour, listening skills and their knowledge. A big thank you to all the parent helpers who helped throughout the day.
