Infant Carnival Afternoon

Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 1 Foxes Year: 2015 - 2016

All term, the Year 1 and Year 2 classes have enjoyed learning about Brazil as part of their topic - Viva Brazil.

Wednesday was their Carnival Afternoon. It was a celebration of the children's work on the topic that all centred around Brazil as they are about to hold the next Olympic games.

Their topic started with their trip to Brazil where the children packed their suitcases, go through baggage checks in passport control and then they jetted off in their make shift aeroplane in Year 2.

Parents were invited into school to view all the work which included their carnival masks, geography on rainforests and of course their carnival inspired dance.

It was obvious the children have enjoyed their summer term topic.
