Chester Phoenix Basketball Team visit!

Lesson: Physical Development

Class: Year 5 Owls Year: 2015 - 2016

Three members of Chester Phoenix came to visit our Year 5 and 6 children. They ran three workshops: one on basketball skills, one looking at the dangers of smoking and one focussing on healthy eating. At the end of the afternoon, William from Year 5 managed to win an incredibly tough game and was given the prize of a signed basketball. The children were thrilled to have them Chester Phoenix in school and were even more delighted when they were given free tickets to one of the team's games.

Letters will be coming home shortly with details of free after school basketball sessions. These sessions are limited to 25 children and will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
