Our King's Coronation Celebrations
Since coming back to school from Spring break, our mini whole school project is based on the King's Coronation and the British monarchy.
We are planning to share all the work the pupils have created to parents on Friday 5th May. Gates will open at 3pm and as well as the children's work, they will also perform their Coronation song and there will also be refreshments and cream teas served by the PTA.
Not only this, but there will also be some competitions!!!! Firstly, there will be the family Great Farndon Coronation Bake Off! We invite any families interested in making a cake with a Coronation theme. Prizes will be awarded for the best tasting cake, the best looking and the most coronation themed cake. i will obviously look forward to tasting them all and I am hoping for no soggy bottoms!
And for the children, we are asking for them to decorate a boiled egg with a Coronation theme. Let your imagination run wild.
Also, there will be a special traditional British fish and chips lunch on Thursday 4th May.
