Liverpool Academy

The Year 2 football team went on a trip to the Liverpool Academy for a mini football tournament.

The day started with a training session with Liverpool coaches. Then, we played four matches against other schools. We drew 2 -2 with Oldfields and 1 -1 with Tarpoley. It was a close game with Waverton but we lost 4 - 2 and we lost our last game against Saughall.

At the end, the Liverpool match mascot gave us our certificates and we even got the chance to have our photo taken with the actual European Cup. The children had a great day and were a credit to the school.
