League Champions

What a match! We played Christleton who were a very strong side.

The first half was incredibly tense. We had a few chances but their keeper was on good form. Christleton then had a great chance with a cross from the right. Freddie made a point blank save then followed it up by clawing the follow up away from danger. It was a top draw save that DeGea would be proud of.

The boys were fired up for the second half with the scores 0 - 0. Travis and Cameron came on and injected a bit of pace. With just 10 minutes left, Tom went on a run down the left and did a neat toe poke finish. The goal sparked us into life and after the ball broke in the box for Travis, he calmly slotted home. We dug in and defended for our lives, managing to keep our first clean sheet in the league.

5 wins and a draw means we win our Chester league for the first time in the school's history! For this game there were so many top performances but man of the match went to Cameron in Yr6. Absolutely unflappable at the back.

A huge thank you to all the support we have had over the season. It goes without saying as headteacher and coach I am incredibly proud of all those who have played. But this is only the beginning! Semi-final and Super 8s still to come. The trophy treble is still on!
