Hockey Champions

October has been a busy month of sport. Thursday was the turn of our hockey team.

They competed in the Broxton schools tournament. They began with a comfortable 4 - 0 win against Clutton, but then came back down to earth with a 2 -1 defeat to Tattenhall. However, they still had done enough to make the semi finals.

They met Malpas and raised their game to win 4 - 0. And so they made yet another final where they met Tattenhall once again, hoping to avenge their earlier defeat. It didn't start too well as they fell behind to a well taken goal. However, confidence was high and the team came together to battle back. With only minutes to go, they won the game 2 - 1.

Champions again! Another trophy to go along with the rugby and cross country silverware.
