Cross Country

On Tuesdya Night the School sent its Cross Country team into action against all the Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils from other schools in our local area.

All the children performed so well and a fantastic evening was enjoyed by all! As Mr Bond put it - whitewash!

There were 3 races: Year 3 and 4 mixed race, Year 5 and 6 girls race and Year 5 and 6 boys race.

The points scoring system worked by taking the score of the top 4 finishers in each race, so if they finished 6th that would be 6 points; the winnder were the team with the LOWEST overall score.

Year 3 and 4 mixed with 45 runners: Fantastic result! 1st Tom E     2nd Juliet Gordon      5th Cameron R     6th Todd McKie with a score of 14 points: WINNERS!

Year 5 and 6 girls with 31 runners: Amazing result! 1st Niamh Kirk     2nd Anna R      6th Sienna Snell      8th Lucy Worrall A score of 17 points: WINNERS!

Year 5 and 6 boys with 32 runners: Great result! 4th Jack M     5th Archie R    7th Ben W      8th Joseph H with a score of 24 points: WINNERS!

Obviously, with a total score of 55 points Farndon were the OVERALL WINNERS

Well done to the whole team for the wonderful efforts as everyone involved all ran amazing races and finisihed highly and it was very much a team effort!!
