Faith Fortnight

Date: 10th Mar 2016 @ 8:14pm

In the second half of the Spring term, over a 2 week period, we had a school focus on exploring different faiths and believes in each of the classes. The children partiicpated in a range of activities: they produced art work, handled artefacts, participated in dance workshops and visited places of worship.

Last Friday was the grand finale of our Farndon Faith Fortnight.  We were delighted to share all the wonderful work the children had completed during the two weeks in our exhibition.  It was lovely to see so many visitors admiring the children’s efforts.  There was a variety of different genre on display including art work, board games, writing, models and samples of Jewish food.  A video of the  children’s dancing during the Bollywood Belles workshop was also shared on the big screen.

This is part of our ongoing commitment to effectively promote our pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and our work towards achieving the Silver Status for RE.
