Year 3 and 4 league victories

Lesson: Physical education

Class: Year 4 Wrens Year: 2016 - 2017

It was time to defend our league champions trophy from last year. We played 3 matches against Tarvin, Dee Point and Tattenhall.

First match wasTattenhall. It was a slow start and we were 1 -0 down at half time. Then Jonnie scored a screamer from a free kick. More goals followed from Oliver and James with the final score a 4 - 1 win.

Then it was time for Tarvin. Father versus son as Mr Walker's son was on their team. They had the better chances but Harry scored an absolute peach in the top corner with the last kick of the game; a 1 - 0 victory.

Our last game was Dee Point. After going a goal down, we recovered to win 4 - 2. Harry scored a hat trick and James scored one. Man of the match had to be Harry with crucial goals at the right time.

With 3 wins that puts us top of the league. A successful defence is still very much on.
