Forest School in Reception

Class: Ladybirds Year: 2015 - 2016

The children (and staff) had a brilliant day at Forest School! We explored the wooded areas on the school grounds, finding all sorts of natural treasures. We then read the story 'The Stickman' before collecting sticks to make our very own. After that it was off on a 'bug hunt'! The children looked in different areas around the school grounds and were very excited to find some grasshoppers! In the afternoon we headed to the pond area where the children did pond dipping and used clay with natural materials to create their very own creature. What a busy day!
