Year 6 Swimming update

In case your child comes home telling great tales of the bus colliding with a lorry on the way to swimming, we thought we would pre-empt them with a realistic version of events!

Whilst passing a parked lorry on a narrow lane, the bus crawled past the lorry successfully only to clip a protruding light sconce at the very last second. The speed of the bus was virtually standstill and were it not for the fact that the driver got out to speak to the lorry driver, no-one on board would have noticed!

We thought you would appreciate the heads up – we all know the children love a drama!
